KalinaDigitalMedia.ca. Icon is an Inukshuk made of rose quartz, and she glows with gold veins running through her cracks.
She’s a Kintsugi Inukshuk.
She says: I was here.
She whispers: I was broken.
She radiates: I put myself back together, and now I shine.
We Are the Inukshuk
Every woman I’ve met through Kalina Digital Media, every grandmother featured in Global Grandmothers Magazine, every SiSTAR who’s submitted her story, she’s a stone in this sacred monument.
We’ve all been cracked open by life.
We’ve all had moments where we didn’t know if we’d rise again.
But we did. And we didn’t just patch ourselves up, we mended with gold.
Like Kintsugi. Like ceremony. Like legacy.
I created Kalina Digital Media to be a place where brokenness isn’t hidden, it’s honored.
Where women don’t have to be perfect to be powerful.
Where every scar becomes part of the design.
My why is to give back.
To build a digital Inukshuk where every woman’s voice becomes a stone.
Where every story becomes a shimmer of gold.
-Where we say together: We were here. We are whole. We are beautiful.
-Place your stone: Submit your story to the magazine.
-Join the circle: Add your voice to the SiSTARS Network.
-Shine Out Loud: Share your truth, even the cracked parts.
Let’s build this monument together. Let’s rise, gold-veined and glorious.
I am a woman of ceremony, creativity, and courage.
