These Terms & Conditions govern all advertising, sponsored content, and promotional placements purchased through Kalina Digital Media, including Global Grandmothers’ Magazine, digital platforms, newsletters, and affiliated publications.

1. Payment Terms

  • All advertising invoices are due upon receipt.

  • Accounts are considered past due 30 days after billing.

  • Interest may be applied to overdue accounts.

  • Recognized agencies may receive a 15% commission on eligible placements.

 

2. Copyright & Creative Ownership

  • All materials created by Kalina Digital Media for an advertiser,  including layouts, graphics, editorial support, and design remain the intellectual property of KDM.

  • Advertisers may not reuse or reproduce KDM‑created materials without written permission.

 

 3. Errors, Omissions & Liability

Kalina Digital Media will make every reasonable effort to ensure accuracy and quality. However:

  • If an advertisement is not published as scheduled, KDM’s liability is limited to the amount paid for that specific placement.

  • If an error occurs in a published advertisement due to KDM, liability is limited to the cost of the space occupied by the error.

  • For flyer or promotional distribution, liability for non‑delivery or incorrect delivery is limited to the amount paid for that distribution.

  • Claims regarding errors must be submitted before the next publication date.

 

4. Placement & Positioning

  • Specific placement or premium positioning is not guaranteed unless explicitly purchased.

  • KDM reserves the right to label any advertisement with the word “Advertisement” for clarity and transparency.

  • Key numbers, tracking codes, or custom formatting are not guaranteed unless arranged in advance.

 

 5. Content Standards & Indemnification

To protect our community and uphold editorial integrity:

  • KDM reserves the right to revise, reject, or discontinue any advertisement at any time, without penalty.

  • Advertisers agree to indemnify and hold KDM harmless from any claims, losses, or costs arising from content that is:

    • libelous

    • misleading

    • infringing

    • unlawful

    • or otherwise harmful

  • This indemnity applies even if KDM assisted in producing the advertisement.

 

6. General Conditions

  • All advertising is subject to approval by Kalina Digital Media.

  • Rates and specifications may change without notice.

  • Materials supplied by advertisers will be held for 21 days after use unless return instructions are provided.

  • All materials produced by KDM remain the property of KDM.

 

7. Community & Brand Integrity

Kalina Digital Media is committed to uplifting stories, wisdom, and intergenerational voices.
We reserve the right to decline advertising that conflicts with our values, mission, or community standards.

Advertisers are responsible for timely payment, with invoices due upon receipt and accounts considered overdue after 30 days. Creative materials produced by Kalina Digital Media remain the company’s intellectual property and cannot be reused without permission.

KDM’s liability for errors, omissions, or distribution issues is limited strictly to the cost of the affected advertising space or service. While KDM strives for accuracy, advertisers must review their materials and submit concerns before the next publication date.

Placement preferences are not guaranteed unless purchased as premium positioning, and KDM reserves the right to label content as “Advertisement” when needed. All advertising content must meet community and editorial standards, and advertisers agree to indemnify KDM against any claims arising from unlawful, misleading, or harmful content.

General conditions include the right to approve or decline any advertisement, adjust rates, and manage materials according to internal policies. Above all, KDM prioritizes brand integrity and reserves the right to refuse advertising that conflicts with its mission or values.

These Terms & Conditions ensure clarity, fairness, and mutual respect between Kalina Digital Media and its advertising partners. They protect the integrity of our publications, uphold the safety and trust of our global community, and support a professional, transparent advertising environment.

By placing advertising with KDM, advertisers agree to these guidelines and join us in maintaining a high standard of quality, ethics, and community-centered storytelling.
